Lupus Awareness Month 2024

Join us on April 30, 2024

May is a time for the lupus community across the country to join together to raise awareness of the physical, emotional and economic impact of lupus. We’re launching the “Real Hope for a Bright Tomorrow” campaign to help raise awareness, advocate for change and fight for a cure.

It is estimated over 14,000 Michiganders have been diagnosed with lupus. The Michigan Lupus Foundation exists to improve the quality of life for those living with lupus through support, education and research with the goal of finding a cure. We provide resources for patients, caregivers and healthcare providers including support groups, counseling, awareness events and financial aid programs due to the high medical cost of living with the disease. We also advocate with lawmakers to improve the patient experience with insurance, medications, and disability rights.

Donations made to the MI Lupus Foundation help ensure we are able to continue to work hard to support lupus patients and their families. Lupus Awareness Month is an excellent opportunity to rally your friends and family to raise funds to support the fight against lupus. Join us in making lupus visible by creating a team and sharing it with your network. The top team will be recognized at the end of the month. 100% of the funds raised in May will go toward the Michigan Lupus Foundation’s mission.
